Improving Media & Society

Let's get one thing clear right away, Rob Priewe is the man. I'm not saying he's Superman, but no one has ever seen Rob and Superman in the same room at the same time so just think about that for a second. He made this class a lot of fun. He pushed us as a class to think about every aspect of media. The class as a whole was very easy to understand but also very challenging. From reading What Would Google Do to the quizzes and blog posts everything was a lot of fun. There was just the right amount of reading mixed with awesome and informative videos that worked perfectly with the readings and it all made for great class discussions. Learning is not something that comes easy to me but when I find a subject I am passionate about I find it easier to study and learn material and that is exactly what has happened with this class. With how many apps are being created in the world today I think it would be good to go into detail about how to create an app in a class discussion as well as talking about ideas that would make a person a millionaire through an app and maybe a little more discussion on net neutrality because that is some confusing stuff.
